vathakuzhambu

vathakuzhambu is a delicious gravy(like sambhar) in the southindian(tamilnadu) cuisine.
Ingredients:( for 4 people)
tamarind paste-1 tablespoon
sambarpowder = 2 and half tablespoons
onion chopped - 1 no
mustard seeds - 1 tea spOon
urud dhall - 1 tea spoon
gram dhall - 1 tea spoon
curry leaves
gingelly oil - 4 table spoons
rice flour - 1 table spoon
salt = according to taste

eppadi panradhunnu paapom:
1.first take a pan or stainless teel vessel and keep it on the stove(appadi mudhal step solliten)
2.then, pour th nalla ennai into the vessel and add urud dhall, gram dhall, mustard seeds,curry leavs in the order.
3.After the mustard seeds vedichifying,add the chopped onionand fry it slightly.
4.then, add the sambar powder andmix it.
5.Add 1 cup of water into the vessel,then tamarind paste,and salt.
6.heat the mixture for 15 minutes until nalla vasanai varum varai.
7.then,mix the rice flour in the water and add it to the mixture and add 1 more cup of water.
8.Heat the mixture for 5 minutes until it becomes slightly thick in consistency

Avolo thaan, vatha kuzhambu ready!!!


ippo eppadi vatha kuzhamba saapidalamnu paaklam:

1.plate la konjam suda suda sadham eduthundu, adhula nalla ennai oothi then vatha kulmabu mix panni, porihta ulundhu appalam or sutta arisi appalam vachi saapidalam.
2.OR, take curd rice in a plate with the vatha kulambu in a side cup.then, konjama konjama curd rice and vatha kuzhamboda saapidalam.
3.If the vathakuzhambu is too tasty, appadiyae soup madhiri kudikalam.
